Executive Housekeeper
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping team at Explorar Hotels. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort throughout the property while managing a team to uphold our brand standards. This role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
- Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, including supervisors and room attendants
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and quality standards
- Manage inventory, budgeting, and ordering of linen, amenities, and supplies
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with health and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain a high-performance culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel or resort
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and passion for maintaining excellence in cleanliness and presentation
- Working knowledge of housekeeping software systems is an advantage
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
