In Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, Rotary International is creating ripples of positive change with its transformative initiatives, and we’ve joined forces to help provide water safety, community support, and education for local children and Burmese migrants.

Empowering Koh Samui Kids Through Swim4Life
Here in the Gulf Of Thailand, surrounded by azure waves, we know how important water safety is for the kids of our islands, so we’re fully on board with Rotary Koh Samui’s Swim4Life initiative. Going beyond traditional swimming lessons, the programme gives local children and their families a comprehensive understanding of water safety practices – essential skills that will last a lifetime.

Educating Koh Phangan’s Youth At The Monastery
Explorar partners with Koh Phangan Buddhist monastery and connect with communities by offering education and support to both local youth and Burmese immigrants.
Explorar volunteers work with the monastery to provide:

• Educational sessions including basic literacy in Thai
• Basic English lessons
• Vocational skill-building workshops
• Much-need resources such as pen, books and school furniture’s
